I have had a lifetime of knee issues and resulting surgeries. Which means I get nervous about just getting on and off a bike. Whether just starting out or stopping at a corner in traffic. I am on my third prosthetic knee. I am tall, so any bike I ride will require me to come down to the ground with all of my weight on one leg at some point. EXCEPT this Townie. The bike supports my body weight when I stop and I simply put a foot down and "Flintstone" it. Trust me. I dread a sudden stop and crash landing. This is the only bike I could find that gives me reassurance I won't be hurting again if I lose my balance. But the biggest plus is it a blast to ride. God bless the man that designed this.

I carry it on the back of our travel vehicle, we visit the great bike trails in the south. It is set up for maximum comfort on my 67 year old body. I haven't had such a good fit, for a bike, since I was a kid.
